MORE LETTERS WILL BE ADDED IN THE FUTURE.
Chuck Westbrook---Webmaster.Dad - here a letter Taylor sent me about her visit to the hospital. I sent over 4 boxes of toys and kids clothes, donated by one of the women I work with.
Mom- I want to thank you for the boxes you sent from your work. Today we visited the Army hospital. There were three kids in there. Remember when you were asking me about the bus explosion that happend? Well, the 18-year old and the 5-year old little girls where in that bus. The 18 year old was in good spirits, although she had burns to her legs really bad. The 5 year old lost part of one leg and a few fingers from one hand. She has had surgery everyday since she has been here. She was not too happy. I just squatted next to her, gave her a bear and rubbed her head. She looked like she was in pain and she had tears in her eyes. It made my day to sit next to her. The people at the hospital thanked you for the boxes. I am giving the rest of the boxes to one of the Army ladys. She goes to a school and hands things out. I just wanted to share with you my wonderful experience. I would love to do something with little kids when I get out. I want to make them happy and feel good about themselves.
I love you mom, Thanks for everything

Dad: Here is a message to forward to Chuck from Taylor.
Hello there.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I am home safe and sound. I want to thank you for all your support while I was over in Afghanistan. It meant a lot to me and the other guys. We left Bagram and flew into Germany on a C-17. We were lucky enough to hang out in Germany for a few days of well deserved rest and then we headed home. When we got to Seattle International Airport we all had family and friends waiting there with signs and balloons. It was a nice homecoming. The rest of our command should be coming home the first week in August, then our mission will be complete until next time.
Thank you again for all your support and have a good day.
