Well, another reunion has come and gone and all had a good time and we had
a good turnout. At the banquet we had a guest speaker from the LST 335,
which was out on maneuvers. Also, this years reunion was dedicated to Mr.
Chuck Westbrook for all his great work and dedication to the Association and
work on our web site. A plaque was presented to his wife for all of his fine
work. Also two more plaques were given out. One to Lisa Rainey for her great
work on the Newsletter and the other was given to Cathy Baker for the great
work she did on the By-Laws. At this years reunion we have chosen the next
two reunion destinations. In 2012 we will be going to Atlanta, GA (September
12 16) and in 2013 it will be Portland, OR.
At this time with a heavy heart I have some sad news for all. Our well loved
member and Vice President, Duane Panter, passed away on September 24
th asreported by his son. He will be missed by all.
With the passing of Duane we will need a new Vice President. So, I am asking
for nominations or a volunteer to assume this position. Please sent me you
nomination or your name if you want to run. I will check with the person
